Individual Supervision for
Agency-Based Social Workers

The transition from social work school into the workforce can be overwhelming.

Many Colorado agency social work jobs are high-volume, emotionally demanding, and under-resourced. Consistent, high-quality clinical supervision is essential for building competence, strengthening confidence, and preventing burnout.

If you are not receiving regular LCSW supervision at your agency, or if you want additional support, we’re here to help.

Individual Clinical Supervision for Colorado Agency Social Workers

With 19 years of direct clinical experience and 12 years in private practice, Bethany provides Colorado clinical supervision tailored specifically for provisionally licensed social workers in agency settings. Her approach blends clinical depth, ethical clarity, and reflective, anti-oppressive practice to support your growth and strengthen client care.

Beginning January 1, 2026, the agency supervision rate will be $110 per 55-minute session.
* Current supervisees may remain at $95 through June 30, 2026.

We welcome Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) and Social Work Candidates (SWCs) seeking Colorado LCSW supervision toward licensure.

What You Can Expect:

  • Flexible Scheduling: Weekly, biweekly, or monthly sessions, depending on your agency role and supervision needs.
  • Daytime Virtual Appointments: Accessible for social workers across Colorado, especially those in agency or community-based settings.
  • Thoughtful Case Consultation: Support with assessment, intervention planning, documentation, complex cases, and ethical decision-making.
  • Reflective, Anti-Oppressive Supervision: Space to explore identity, power, countertransference, and the emotional realities of agency work.
  • Professional Development: Guidance in navigating systems, advocating for your role, strengthening clinical judgment, and developing ethical leadership skills.
  • Sustainable Practice Foundations: Support for boundaries, self-care, and managing the demands of agency work without burnout.

Your Path to Ethical, High-Quality Colorado Supervision

Effective clinical supervision is the foundation of ethical and competent practice. If you’re seeking reliable support, reflective guidance, and a supervisory relationship grounded in care, clarity, and accountability, you’re in the right place.

Important Notes Before Scheduling

  • If you take on any private clients in Colorado (including independent contractor roles in group practices), your rate will shift to the private practice supervision rate due to the change in supervision context.
  • If supervision is required due to a DORA ruling, please schedule a consultation to determine whether you require a Practice Monitor. Visit our Practice Monitoring page to learn more.
  • Supervision rates are reserved for provisionally licensed clinicians seeking Colorado LCSW licensure and hour sign-off.

A Note for Fully Licensed Clinicians

Supervision services and rates are reserved for provisionally licensed clinicians who require formal oversight and hour sign-off toward licensure.

If you are a fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC) seeking guidance, reflection, or support, your services will be provided and billed as professional consultation, not supervision.

Consultation includes advanced clinical reflection, ethical guidance, leadership support, and practice development. It is a separate service, with a separate fee structure, and is not eligible for reduced agency supervision rates.

All fully licensed clinicians will be:

  • Documented as consultation clients

  • Charged at the consultation rate

  • Provided consultation agreements, not supervision agreements

  • Ineligible for supervision hour sign-off or supervision-rate fees

  • Eligible for continuing education in Colorado

If you are unsure which service you need, I’m happy to clarify before we begin.

Hear What Past Supervisees Have to Say About Our Supervision

Charlie Johnson, MSW, LCSW

After transitioning from direct field work to a macro-focused position, I was feeling like I had just given up my chance at reaching an LCSW. Bethany's experience in both micro and macro practice was exactly what I needed to reframe my love of social work to a broader scale in my new role. Bethany's supervision was empowering from a personal, professional and systemic standpoint in the role you are currently working and for future roles you will hold!

Lisa Nelson, MSW, LCSW, ACS

Bethany's clinical supervision was invaluable to me as I worked toward independent licensure.
I wouldn't be the clinician I am today without her. I consistently felt supported by Bethany and my work with her greatly increased my confidence in handling complex clinical issues. Bethany brings a strong social work perspective to the work and stresses the importance of personal awareness and social justice and the intricate connections between the two. She is highly knowledgeable about ethics and considerations related to work at both an agency and in private practice. She prompts professional growth of supervisees with attention to stress management and avoidance of burnout.
