The transition from social work school into the workforce is stressful. Many social work jobs are demanding and, at times, just plain hard. Bethany will explore the often unmet needs of early career social workers and social work students. Realistic and effective solutions and resources for social workers at all stages of their career will be discussed.

• You will be able to identify at least 3 needs of early career social workers and social work students.
• You will be able to identify at least 3 actions seasoned social workers can take to support early career social workers.
• You will reflect on your own early career experience with the aid of a set of worksheets.
